Nancy Mulvihill
Elaine was one of my very best friends, and for nearly 52 years she was a treasured part of my life. Through all the seasons of our friendship, she brought laughter, wisdom, kindness, and a remarkable outlook on life that made every day brighter.
We shared countless conversations, adventures, tears, and, most of all, giggles. Elaine “adopt”me into her wonderful family for which I am so grateful.
Some of our laughs came at the most unexpected moments, and they became memories I will carry with me forever. Elaine had a gift for finding light even during difficult times. She reminded those around her that life was meant to be lived with gratitude, humor, and an open heart.
When life was joyful, she celebrated with me. When life was hard, she stood beside me. And I did that for her, too. That kind of friendship is rare and precious. I was incredibly fortunate to have her as my BFF for more than five decades.
The years we shared were a blessing, and although my heart aches with her absence, I am grateful beyond words that our paths crossed and stayed intertwined for so long. Elaine leaves behind a legacy of love, friendship, laughter, and resilience. She touched so many lives simply by being herself.
I will miss her deeply, but I will always hear her laughter in my memories and carry her spirit in my heart. Thank you, Elaine, for 52 wonderful years of friendship. What a gift you were to me, and what an honor it was to call you my friend. Nancy Mulvihill
