Alan Elliot Sandberg's Obituary
Alan Elliot Sandberg, 90, passed away Monday, December 8, 2025, in Boynton Beach, FL. Born in Brooklyn, NY, to the late David and Matilda Sandberg, Alan graduated from Brooklyn College with a degree in electrical engineering, then served in both the Army and Navy for several years as a radio and radar technician, travelling extensively in Germany, Japan, and the Philippines . An early adopter of technology, after working in the electronics industry for nearly two decades he founded Bell Amusement, Ltd., a company focused on sales, leasing, rebuilding and repair of video arcade games, jukeboxes, and vending machines. Alan is survived by his loving wife Beverly Sandberg; his children Marc Sandberg (Barbara), Steven Sandberg (Jean), and Ellen Indik (Lawrence); his grandchildren Robert (Erica), Melinda (Curt), Avril, Emily, Dylan and Jared; great-grandson Nechemya; and his sisters Arlene Fradkin (Mark) and Estelle Fisher (Martin). Graveside services will be held at New Montefiore Cemetery in West Babylon, NY, on Thursday, December 11, 2025, beginning at 1pm. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
