We grew up together in Rockaway. We would play together and his mom, Mickey, would give us snacks. His house had green aluminum siding.
Andy was one of my first high-volume customers I dealt with on a regular basis in the paper industry, and I cannot thank him enough for his guidance and patience while I was getting acclimated to that world. He was always a pleasure to work with and I was grateful to meet him a few times in person.
We continued to in touch even after I stopped handling his region. He will be greatly missed. -SL
Andy was a shining light in all his relationships, he was upbeat, the first to offer a helping hand, saw the positive in everyone, and it was a joy to be in his company. I will cherish our 40 year relationship. He will be sorely missed, and never ever forgotten

To the Friedman family,
I am truly sorry for your loss. I had the opportunity to work with Andrew at Veritiv, and although we were in different regions, he was always kind, supportive, and willing to help his coworkers. He made a positive impression on everyone he interacted with.
He will be missed.
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
