Barbara L. Goldstein's Obituary
On October 16, 2018, our family sadly lost our mom, lifelong wife, grandmother, aunt and friend.In her 87th year of life, Barbra Louise Goldstein, the daughter of wonderful Russian and Swiss immigrants, Joseph and Agnes Zibulesky, went on to be with her parents, her brothers, Jake Zibulesky and Fred Zibulesky, and her sister, Harriet Strause.She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 68 years, Harry Goldstein, her son, Joe Goldstein (Ines), her daughter, Roni Jarrell (Max), grandson, Nick Goldstein (Megan), granddaughter, Katelyn Goldstein, grandson Max Jarrell II (Stephanie) grandson Chris Jarrell (Lora), sister-in-law Rhoda Tolchin (Marty) and many nieces and nephews.During her life, Barbra was a consummate homemaker, cook and mother, as well as serving 20 years as a Teacher’s Aide at John F. Kennedy Elementary School in Wayne, NJ, where she and Harry lived prior to moving to Florida.After moving Florida, Barbra enjoyed swimming, playing bridge and playing Mah Jongg. Barbra was also a member of the Caring Committee at her residential community, and was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 11:00 am at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel on 11115 Jog Road, Boynton Beach, FL 33437.Our family’s special thanks goes to Active Home Health, Excellent Home Care Services, Pam Salamone, RN and to Trustbridge Home Hospice for their wonderful caring staff and administrators, as well as, to Barbra and Harry’s neighbors and friends.In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation in Barbra’s memory.
