Words can never describe how amazing this woman truly was. She was my grandmother, but also one of my best friends. Growing up, she would always come and take us for a day trip or a weekend away. She wanted to make sure that her grandchildren were well traveled, and always wanted us to try new things. She was our biggest cheerleader. She was supportive of anything and everything that we did. We always knew how proud we made her. She always used to say that she was high on life. She was always happy and her laugh was truly contagious. There is not a day that goes by that I don't miss her. She was so happy when I gave birth to my daughter, 3 years ago today. She loved her so very much. I wish that she could see how her great-granddaughter is growing up, and see the little lady that she is becoming. She will always know who you are, what you meant to me, and how amazing of a person you truly were. She has pictures hanging up all over, and she points to you and knows that is great grandma. I wish we could hear your voice, singing happy birthday. I miss you and love you so much Grandma. – Melissa
