Charles Schreiber's Obituary
Charles Martin Schreiber of Lake Worth, Florida passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2020. He is survived by his wife, Sondra Schreiber, his daughter Randi Schreiber, his Grandson, Jake Schreiber, his sister, Gloria Staple, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his daughter, Mindy Schreiber who passed away in 2011, at the age of 45.
He was born in Brooklyn, NY on May 6, 1936. As a young boy he had Polio from which he was able to overcome with his strong spirit. He attended Long Island University and earned his BA in Accounting. Charles met his wife, Sondra Schreiber, while working on a school break at Kutcher’s Hotel in the Catskills. They were best friends and had a loving marriage of 61 years. He resided in New York, New Jersey and finally Florida for the last 39 years. He had a successful Accounting firm that is celebrating it’s 38 year. He had always believed in the quality of life. “Without it, you had nothing”.
Charles was a lover of all sports but made sure to watch good or bad the Florida Marlins and Brooklyn Nets. He especially loved family gatherings and getting together with his friends on the weekends. He worked up until the end, as he enjoyed being around people continuously.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the American Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer’s Association.
Funeral Services will be held graveside, Sunday, April 5th at 10:45 am at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens, Boynton Beach, FL. Due to current Coronavirus Regulations in place, immediate family and friends can only attend. Formal Shiva will not be observed due to current Coronavirus Regulations.
