Today would have been your 61st birthday and I choose to remember you on this, a day of joy for your parents, siblings and friends, rather than on the sad day (for us left behind) you left us. After my husband died, I found myself in a kind of cocoon. It was difficult to reach out to anyone but my family. My life was lonely. David was able to help me break through and begin to live again. I loved him deeply and completely. Every minute we had together is a warm memory for me. Those memories are a blessing. I'm glad he found Debbie. They had a real love. My heart goes out to her and to his family and friends. He was much to young to be called home. His love of life was strong. He was blessed with the gift of bringing joy. We shared a lot of laughs and a lot of tears. I will love him until I died and that is a gift from him that is priceless. Thanks for teaching me to live again.
