David Louis Nathan's Obituary
David Nathan of Delray Beach, Florida passed away peacefully on September 17, 2025. He was 92.
David was a devoted husband, father, grandfather & great-grandfather, brother and friend. David was a man defined by love, laughter & appreciation for his huge and growing family. He valiantly fought his battle with cancer for over six months. He was a vital & active part of the Valencia Falls community contributing in many ways.
David was a Korean War Veteran and was a Major in the volunteer department of the Palm Beach County Sheriff's office for 15 years as well as a volunteer with the Delray Beach Sheriff's office. David was an avid golfer who was playing golf up until May with his daughter Susan. He was a force to be reckoned with, he wowed all who played with him.
David is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Rhoda, two daughters & son-in-laws, Nancy & Ralph and Susan & David. Grandchildren Danielle & Victor Peralta, Aaron & Karlee Mayer, Brett & Lauren Mayer, Eric & Chloe Mandel, Jason Mandel & Melissa Mandel. Great-grandchildren Veronica, Zachary, Mylah, Mac & Ollie.
A graveside service will be held at Beth Moses Cemetery in New York, at 11am on Sunday, September 21, 2025.
In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude's Hospital for Children, or any charity of your choice.
