Donald Walter Feuer's Obituary
Donald Feuer, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, passed away peacefully following a brief illness on June 6, 2023 at the age of 93. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on November 21, 1929, to Helen and Herbert Feuereisen. Following his graduation from City College of New York and two years in the military, Donald enjoyed a long career as an Executive Vice President in the paper industry. He was a dedicated and hardworking individual and was well-respected by his colleagues.
In 1960, Donald married Alma (nee Kaminsky), who passed away in 1996. They had two daughters together. In 1998, Donald married Ann (nee Kurtz) and they joyously celebrated their 25th anniversary this past January.
Donald was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He was always there for his family, and he loved spending time with them. Donald was lucky to see almost all of his family in New York City one week before he became ill. Donald was an avid New York sports fan, and loved the Yankees and Giants and would also root for Buffalo teams to support his family. He traveled the world and visited a countless number of countries and loved cruising with Ann and especially treasured cruises with the family.
He was also an active member of his community, playing tennis and golf until just few years ago. Donald was a kind and generous man, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Donald is survived by his wife, Ann; his two children, Jill Wisner (Leonard) and Karen Feuer; his two stepchildren, Erik Webb (Suzanne Kranock) and Jennifer Day (Matthew); his two beloved grandchildren, Brett Wisner and June Day; two brothers, Arthur Feuer (Marvin Leipsig, deceased) and Martin Feuer (Ellen); and many nieces and nephews. His funeral service will take place Thursday, June 8 at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, Boynton Beach, FL, at 10:00am, with a private graveside memorial service to follow at a later date for his immediate family. The family will sit shiva in Delray Beach.
