Mrs. Myara was born in Casablanca Morocco, 1 of 5 Children to Rica and Albert Bellicha, Elsie moved to Israel where she lived in the kibbutz for 10 years with her youngest brother and older sister. Having an eye for color, Elsie found her love for art in the beauty industry. Learning English by solving crossword puzzles, She became a hair stylist after migrating to the United States where she mastered this skill for over 40 years. As she set down her final pair of scissors, Elsie found a new hobby in painting. Her talent in color launched her newest passion as an artist, painting over 300 paintings for family around the globe and winning second place for her entry of “the Cuban”.Those who remember Elsie, mother of Valy, Michelle and Aubry remember a fun-loving, caring, and generous person who loved to dance the Tango with her brother or host high holiday dinners for family. As we lay her to rest, she reunites with her husband Marcel of 50 years. We remember her heart and love she had for so many. She will be missed.
