Estelle R. Schwarz's Obituary
Estelle Schwarz, 96, formerly of Delray Beach, FL, passed away on April 17, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Schwarz, her daughter, Leslie Collins, sister, Irma Lepofsky and her husband, George, niece, Judy Lepofsky. Survivors include her daughter, Randee (Norman) Perkins; son-in-law, Drew Darien; grandchildren, Alicia Collins and Stephanie (Chad) Creen; great grandchildren, Kellan and Beckett; niece, Dana (Ken Lertzman Lepofsky; great nephew, George; great niece, Gavia.
Estelle was born October 24, 1926, in Bronx, New York to Alex and Ruth Koback A few years after, the family moved to Norwalk, CT. In 1946, she married Allen Schwarz. They had two girls, Leslie and Randee. After raising her family, working at her father's factory in south Norwalk, and other assorted businesses as the company bookkeeper, she and Allen retired and moved to Florida.
Estelle was an enthusiastic golfer, loved being around people, passionate reader, an uber shopper and great with numbers. She and Allen retired to Delray Beach, FL and enjoyed wonderful years living at the Gleneagles Country Club. At 92 years old Estelle moved to Maine to be close to her daughter, Randee.
A graveside service will be held at 2:15 PM on Friday, April 21st at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens, 11520 State Road 7, Boynton Beach, FL 33473. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 11115 Jog Road, Boynton Beach, FL 33437.
