Eugene Welkes

During the time that our families were in contact, from my birth in 1962 until my beloved grandmother Ruth passed in 2000, my Uncle Gene showed me only love and kindness. He was a gentleman and I only wish that I could have had the chance to maintain our relationship later in life. Sadly, I was never afforded that opportunity because of petty family squabbling that neither he nor I were parties to, but now that has all passed by. What a shame.Andrew Rosenberg, 4/7/15
