Growing up my father would occasionally talk about his time in the Navy and most of all his shipmates, one in particular Jack Donsky. Later after I move to Ft.Lauderdale from Boston, my parents would start to visit me and see his brother and sister in Miami. I met Jack in in the mid 80's when he visited my father at my condo and there started my relationship with him. After my fathers passing, I visited Jack at his home and presented him with a catholic rosary that my father wanted Jack to have, he accepted it with appreciation in memory of his Navy friend, Tommy. I never realized how how close they were till Jack and I would talk about there time together. Jack never forgot about me, he always called several times a year and we enjoyed talking to each other. Jack was a great man and I will always remember and love him.Thank you Uncle Jack and god bless you. Your Nephew,Tony Giorgio
