Jacob Feinberg's Obituary
Jacob Feinberg, 87, of the Mizner Country Club in Delray Beach passed away Wednesday January 20, 2016. Jacob was the beloved husband for 64 years of the late Arlene Feinberg. Arlene and Jack Feinberg founded the Gift of Life Bone Marrow Foundation when their son Jay was diagnosed with leukemia and needed a bone marrow transplant. Their hard work and dedication has saved hundreds of lives of leukemia patients around the world. They were true heroes. Jacob was the devoted father of Jay Feinberg, Steven (Sheryl) Feinberg, and the late Edward Feinberg; the cherished grandfather of Shauna (Kyle) Haines, Michelle Feinberg, and Skylar Feinberg; and the dear brother of Robert (Martha) Feinberg. Funeral services will be held at 2:30PM Friday January 22, 2016 at Temple Beth El of Boca Raton, 333 SW 4th Ave, Boca Raton, Florida 33432 followed by interment in Eternal Light Memorial Gardens in Boynton Beach. Rabbi Dan Levin will officiate. Those wishing to honor Jacob with a memorial contribution are asked to think kindly of the Gift of Life Bone Marrow Foundation, 800 Yamato Road, Boca Raton, Florida, 33431. All arrangements have been entrusted to Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 11115 Jog Rd., Boynton Beach, Florida 33437.
