Jacob (Jack) Joseph Slotnick's Obituary
Jack J. Slotnick, Coconut Creek, Florida, passed away on October 12, 2015 at the age of 92 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born and bred in Brooklyn, New York. Husband of Selma Lee Slotnick who predeceased him and father of Dr. David Slotnick, Miami Florida. Brother to Dorothy Weisberg who predeceased him, Martha Weinstein and Estelle Kanter all of New York. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was a proud WWII Veteran who served on General Douglas MacArthur’s staff in Japan. He was the Executive Director of purchasing for a New York based manufacturing company for over 40 years. Jack was actively involved in many charitable organizations and received numerous awards for his work. Contributions in his memory can be made to Doctors Without Borders.
