Jerry Lampert's Obituary
Jerry Lampert, 93, of Boynton Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on October 11, 1932, in Queens, New York, Jerry was the son of Morris and Ruth Gust. He endured the loss of his mother at a young age. Jerry had three brothers; Sonny, Jack, and Alan, and two sisters; Gloria and Barbara. He went on to outlive all but one of his siblings, carrying with him a deep appreciation for family, resilience, and strength.
Jerry was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Eileen; his children, Randi and Scott; and his four grandsons, Tyler, Joshua, Noah, and Jack, who were a constant source of pride and joy in his life.
A proud veteran, Jerry served honorably in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. Following his military service, he built a long and dedicated career as a computer programmer with the Board of Education of New York, where he was respected for his intelligence, work ethic, and commitment.
Jerry lived a full and meaningful life, rich with experiences, stories, and lasting memories. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, quiet wisdom, and unwavering love for his family. His presence brought comfort and strength to those around him, and his legacy will live on through the lives he touched.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 11115 Jog Road, Boynton Beach, Florida. Shiva will follow at the family home in Venetian Isles, 8330 Marsala Way, Boynton Beach, with additional Shiva gatherings on Tuesday and Wednesday beginning at 5:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in Jerry’s memory, in honor of his mother and wife.
