He was the best doctor of his specialty, by far. Only G-d knows why he was taken from this earth at this time, because it doesnt make any sense to me, when he was so valued and needed. I'm glad I knew him, and I celebrate that, as I want everyone to celebrate his life, and what he gave us, through his work, passion and inspiring qualities. These are the gifts he leaves us., and a lesson to always challenge yourself, as he did. My blessings to his family to keep them safe, I was a patient of his, and just called in today to make an appointment with him, so I just heard, and it shows me tomorrow is promised to no one.
I am in complete shock, saddened & in tears at the news that a great man & doctor/podiatrist, Dr. KEVIN BERKOWITZ has passed. I am a little behind in the news, but that doesn't lessen the sadness felt at his untimely death. I knew him as a patient, worked with him in the OR & thought of him as a friend. These words written by another who misses him, brought me to tears.Hug your loved ones, tell them you love them….for tomorrow is never promised & you never know if they will wake. A life can be taken without warning. We never know how long we have.RIP Kevin! I hope you knew how much you were admired & how many people you helped.I suffered 10 years with plantar fasciitis. After 3 podiatrists, he was the one to heal my pain.
My condolences to his family. He was always a funny person, and a great friend. Many times when I felt down, he picked me up by talking about silly things, cracking jokes, just to cheer me up and it always worked. He was full of positive energy and always smiling. With him, it was impossible to be upset, his smile was contagious. I know for a fact that he loved his wife and family like there is no tomorrow. My prayers are with you all. I'll miss you Kevin, it was just way too soon…. Z.
So saddened to just learn of Kevin's untimely passing. My heart goes out to Brian, Beverly, Melissa and Michael and Kevin's kids. I loved hanging out and getting to know Kevin during the summer before he started at Barry University. My heartfelt condolences to all of you.

My Condolences to Dr. Berkowitz's Family, no matter what time of day I ran into him in the hospital, he always had a smile on his face. He was a gentleman and had excellent bedside manners. He touched the heart of many and we pray he may rest in peace, although I happen to think he will look over his family and patients becasue his love for people was so strong I think he will continue to look over everyone. He will live on as an example to us all.Fernando Vargas Chacon
