Lawrence Cohen's Obituary
Larry Cohen was born to Morris and Esther Cohen on September 23, 1926. He grew up alongside his sisters Florence and Shirley in Brooklyn and later, served for two years in the US Army in Asia during WWII.On his return to the US, Larry embarked upon a career in building and real estate; he passionately enjoyed his business activities, relishing the challenge of building a successful venture and always eager to do more. While his work brought him great satisfaction, the true joy of his life was his family. Married for 61 happy years to his beautiful wife Barbara, their union was blessed with four devoted sons – Andy, Barry, Steve and Warren; three loving daughters-in-law – Susie, Kelli and Dharshi; five treasured grandchildren – Jesse, Erica, Tyler, Max and Sam; and, the apple of the whole family’s eye, an adorable four year old great-grandchild, Chase. In his later years, Larry suffered from ill health and was nursed devotedly by his wife Barbara and his three beloved angels, Marie, Rose and Leslie. Larry loved food, singing and on a bad day, he liked to complain about things a little! A man of great humor, compassion and kindness, he will be sorely missed by all who loved him.In lieu of flowers please feel welcome to donate to Trustbridge West Palm Beach Hospice: https://trustbridgefoundation.org/page.aspx?pid=282#.WDtBOrIrL4Z
