This cannot be true. I was hoping he was OK he came into my job a few times a week and all of a sudden it's been three weeks no Larry. I texted him no reply. I am in total shock. He will truly be missed.

"Friends come and friends go, but a friend sticks by you like family" Proverbs 18:24 MSG Mourning the loss of our close friend today. Larry, Ruben and I were the lunch bunch "Cholesterol Trio" during the five years that I worked at Tropical Shipping. Many great memories and fun times. I usually drove, Ruben shotgun and Larry in the backseat. Ruben would check my car for new scratches everyday. We would rotate on who paid for lunch. Larry was very generous.Good memories: Eating a full rack of ribs each at PA BBQ during their anniversary special Taking Larry on a boat ride of his life on Ruben's boat while the seas were rough – soaked him and we could never persuade him to go again Eating at Sweet Tomatoes (when Ruben was busy) – Larry would scoop large chunks of chicken from the soup Larry's ChickFila Cow Outfit – 8×11 paper with hand drawn utter taped to his shirt Always backing his Mustang into a parking spot and buying a new one before he put 100K miles on it Eating at Anthony Pizza, PA BBQ or Dune Dogs Larry would start a diet every Jan 1 and track how long it took to get back to his desired weight and then eat however he liked for the rest of the year He never let me pay when we would go to McDonalds â?? he always had a Quarter Pounder and large fries. I called him one day when I was at McDonalds alone and ask if he had an account there because I wasnâ??t sure how to pay. He told me to tell them to put it on his account and walk out. Larry was a master with PhotoShop. It was dangerous if he had your picture. He played all kinds of pranks and made us laugh often. While our last days at Tropical were not the happiest, we joked about the closet that Larry called his office, about how long it would take for him to clean out his old office (pack rat) and I took him to lunch the Saturday he cleaned out his office. Larry never threw things out and had every email and document from his whole career at Tropical. If I needed history, he was the one to turn to. Larry was good with computers and helped many that could not afford to fix their own. He was a good son – faithfully taking care of his ailing mom and making the drive to Delray. His main worry when leaving Tropical was financially supporting her.I will remember picking him up from the hospital last time he was there and taking him home. Wish I could have been there to take him home this time.Larry was a great friend and he will be missed. David Wilson
