Michael was one of my childhood best friends. He was full of laughter, humor, joy, love, compassion and fun. He always made me smile, and laugh. But, what I remember most about him, as an adult, was that he always asked about me, about my family, first. Whenever we would talk, he would always say, "Tell me about your parents, your brother so and so, etc.." He was always reaching out and expressing his caring in others. He never made himself the focus of attention or conversation. He had such a pure heart. And Michael loved his family dearly. He LOVED being a dad and husband. The MOST important things in his life were his wife and children. He lived for his family.Though I didn't see him often, I miss not knowing I can call him to chat. Everyday, I miss knowing that he is not at the other end of the phone.I know that Michael's spirit lives eternally, embracing those he loves with his warmth and tenderness. His spirit lives in the hearts and memories of all those he touched with his beautiful life.Always Michael's best friend – Dean Lovett
