Myron Verch's Obituary
Mike Verch passed away on 2 January 2024 after a short illness. Mike grew up in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Seaford, Long Island to raise a family. Mike graduated from the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn in 1966 and worked as an electrical engineer for Loral Electronic Systems in New York until semi-retiring in 1990. During his time on Long Island, Mike loved to fish and did so at every chance.
After fully retiring and moving to Florida in 1997, Mike enjoyed playing tennis, visiting with friends, and celebrating the milestones of his four grandchildren. Mike was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Mike was preceded in death by his wife Linda. Mike is survived by sons David, Scott (Renee), and grandchildren Rachel, Max, Chloe, and Emma.
Funeral service will be held graveside at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens January 5, 2024 12:15pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Myron's honor be made to The Parkinson's Foundation (www.parkinsons.org) or Rotary International (www.endpolio.org)
