Riva Frank's Obituary
Riva Frank, 76, of Valencia Pointe in Boynton Beach passed away Wednesday February 20, 2019. The daughter of Rabbi Solomon and Jeannette Spitz, Riva grew up in Israel and came to the U.S. when she was 17 years old. She attended the Jewish Theological Seminary and Columbia University combined program. Riva became a Hebrew School teacher and taught for over 40 years mostly in Chappaqua, NY, and also taught the Bat Mitzvah class at Valencia Pointe. She loved working in the arts and was a gifted painter, jewelry maker, and knitter. Riva leaves her beloved husband of 53 years, Ben G. Frank; her devoted sons Marty (Betty Coutts) Frank and Monte (Leah Fogelman) Frank; cherished grandchildren Randy, Becky, Sarah, and Julia; and dear brother Joshua (Galina) Spitz. Chapel services will be held 12:15 PM on Friday at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 11115 Jog Rd., Boynton Beach, FL 33437 followed by interment in Eternal Light Memorial Gardens in Boynton Beach.
