Steven Bob Koolik's Obituary
Steven Koolik departed our world on November 3, 2025 at 7:45PM.
Steve’s early years were spent with his parents, Louis and Sylvia, and brother, Stanley, in New York. At seventeen years old, Steve met Susan in the Catskills, and fell in love instantly. Together they shared 64 incredible years. Their greatest adventure was raising two extraordinary sons who in turn with their own wives each raised three exceptional children of their own. There was nothing that made Steve prouder than his family. While he was unable to meet his great grandchild on Earth, he fell in love with the baby as soon as he learned they were coming.
His second love was his career in the real estate industry. As he often proudly shared, he started when “all of [South Florida] was orange groves.” He loved watching the area grow and being able to have a hand in it. He welcomed each colleague and client into the Koolik family. His warmth was contagious, his humor unrivaled, and wisdom unparalleled.
He is predeceased by parents, Louis and Sylvia, and brother, Stanley. He is survived by his wife, Susan; sons and daughters-in-law, Elliot & Wendy and Ian & Merri; and grandchildren, Marissa & Gavin, Libby & Juan, Lindsey & Shira, Brett, Sheina, and Justin.
