Vicki Portnoy's Obituary
Vicki Portnoy, 75, of Ponte Vecchio in Boynton Beach passed away Monday April 22, 2019. Vicki was a Registered Nurse specializing in neonatal care and was on staff in the Neonatal Care Unit of St. Joseph’s Hospital in Queens, NY. Vicki was married for 57 years to her husband Allan and together they enjoyed a beautiful marriage. She enjoyed travelling, knitting, mah jongg, and reading, but most of all she was considered a good friend to all who knew her. Vicki was the beloved wife of Allan, the devoted mother of David (Jackie) Portnoy, Adam (Lauren) Portnoy, and Ruth (Sam) Zuckerman; the loving and doting grandmother of Jonathan, Joshua, Jennie, Jason, Ilana, Jacob, Richard, Zachary, and Jude; and the dear sister of Sam (Toni) Hockman. Vicki also is survived by her dear mother, Lillian Rubenfeld Hockman. Chapel services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 11115 Jog Rd., Boynton Beach, FL followed by interment in Eternal Light Memorial Gardens, Boynton Beach, FL.
